Constant Friendship Box Store Update
A sign at Constant Friendship now proclaims a Mattress Giant will be the new neighbor to PetSmart and Lowe's. In the bad news department, aforementioned sign has 3 blank spaces for additional businesses. I guess we'll have to wait until those are filled in to find out what's coming.

Ever wonder why this area attracts so many mattress stores? There are a half dozen within a mile of the intersection of Route 24 and Route 1 in Bel Air. Now another is coming to Abingdon. Seems they're taking our "bedroom community" status awfully literally.
Yes instead of chain store, I would love to see more independents with interesting stores. However most everyone here seems to just love the chains no matter how tacky, overpriced or just plain bad.
