Bass Pro Shop is Coming-Not

Unconfirmed (but reliable) reports do indeed have Bass Pro Shops coming, but not to the former Weis location, but to the Wegman's complex, or should we say Boulevard at Box Hill South.
Also, a shoe store will take over the Weis building. And in the dreams do come true department, we are hearing it is a DSW.
Please see comment below. This was discussed at a community meeting as something that was coming.

Please be advised that this story is not true. As the marketing and leasing firm for the Blvd at Box Hill on behalf of Ward Properties. Bass Pro is not a prospective tenant for Phase II. We are currently in discussions with several, prominent retailers for this next Phase, including additional restaurants, fashion, and speciality shops. Feel free to visit www.boulevardatboxhill.com for more details, as the project evolves.

While in the new Walmart in Forest Hill the other day, I was told by the greeter that, the Walmart in Abingdon was going to be moving and relocating to a new site off of Plum Tree Rd. It will be a SuperWalmart complete with grocery store, and that the Bass ProShop will be moving into where the Walmart is presently at.
I was also told that Macy's is moving to the Boulevard, and JCPenny's will be relocating to the Macy's spot in the mall.
How much of that is true??? IDK, but it makes more sense to have BPS go into the Walmart spot.

Tom -

Thanks for sending an update. It would be great if you could send out some more information, as it seems no information is coming out about your project. Everyone is asking and all we keep hearing are rumors. Also, the website you mention goes to property management website out of Oregon. That's pretty unprofessional to me, Ward properties should be ashamed they aren't giving the public the information about the project

BPS in Abingdon rumor is ridiculous. Future stores are announced on the BPS web site long before construction starts. I doubt that they would put another BPS so close to the Baltimore location. It just doesn't make sense or fit their business model.
