Crime on Crisfield Drive

Crisfield Drive seems to be in the midst of a crime wave. There was a breaking and entering and several car break-ins in the last few weeks, all on Crisfield Drive. Also several accounts of shots fired near the apartments.
Keep your car doors locked and your house doors locked, especially the sliders. That's how the burglars got in the house in the breaking and entering.
Be alert, and if you see anything suspicious, call 911.

That's so odd. Why Crisfield Dr in particular? It's close to I95. If I remember correctly,it's the first street when you turn off from shopping area. So do you think it's random stuff, or bored teenagers? Just wondering...

There were also several other breaking and enterings where the suspects took jewelry after breaking in through the sliders. These folks were taken into custody this week, but not sure it's the same people. I think the cars are random teens, b&e doesn't sound like that. I wondered about location, too. But it seems like the courts would make more sense.

Well our local drug dealer was cleared from the area he hung out at Stone Mill and Crisfield.

Other then the crime my other favorite part of my "hood" is the RV that seems to spending week after week there and he is living out of it!

I look forward to moving next year god willing my home sells. It is real sad becasue when I moved there in 2000 it was a really nice area, now not so much.

i really value your blog though it has been short of late. I live on Crisfield and have asked a lot of folks about the gun shots, that seems to be false information.

A statement like that can cause a great deal of fear. You may want to double check your source and remove that comment...

Thanks for the response last anonymous commenter. The gunshots have been in the Aegis sheriff reports over the last several months. We are thinking it is a neighbor dispute (and this is definitely supposition) because of the type of reports (neighbors heard, followed by neighbor dispute). We believe those are isolated incidents.
